Back when I was a kid, Lyons Maid was the main brand of ice cream. There was nothing better than seeing that double-sided metal sign above a newsagent's or post office, because that meant they would have a freezer of lollies and ice-creams. Fab, Zoom, Cherry Brandy, Haunted House, I could go on.
This piece is a tribute to that memorable sign on which three joyful children dance with ice-lollies in their sticky little hands. Simpler times.
