Yesterday Today Tomorrow

We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration with the legendary Graphic Artist Anthony Burrill. Opening on Thursday 14th November 2024 at our brand new Coal Drops Yard gallery, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow marks the beginning of a year long collaboration between Anthony Burrill and They Made This, celebrating the concept of Time.

The project, which launches with a series of brand new affordable prints in editions of just twenty four, will see They Made This and Burrill exploring the importance of time, how we have used it, how we choose to spend it now and our plans for the future.

The project will include an out of home billboard exhibition touring the UK in 2025, a series of podcasts discussing the significance of time within the creative industries and will form the basis of an exciting call out looking for new emerging artists to collaborate around the theme of time.

"I'm thrilled to be working with They Made This on a new series of works that connects with the theme of time. How we spend our time is important, it's how we measure our lives and the relationships we build with the people around us. Being conscious of the passing of time is part of being human. When we're young time feels infinite and as we grow older we see what a valuable gift it is. Within these new prints the theme of time is open to interpretation. Yesterday, today and tomorrow are always happening around us and within us."

Exhibition opens Thursday 14th November 2024 6pm - 9pm at They Made This, Mare Street Market, Coal Drops Yard.
