Great British Seaside by Sanders de Roeper

Sanders de Roeper aka Tim and Hatty, are a husband and wife duo based in Hastings, East Sussex. Their show, Great British Seaside, opened Summer 2025 in our Brighton store & online, to coincide with their They Made This artist launch. See the collection here.

Tim was born and grew up in Brighton, where his father still lives. Hatty grew up in the Lake District. They met at Kingston University, graduating in 2010 - Tim in Graphic Design and Hatty in Fashion. After years working in London and Amsterdam, the duo settled by the sea with their two small children and shared a desire to create work with deeper meaning.

Tim and Hatty now channel their out-of-the-box thinking into joyful design that sparks meaningful conversations, celebrates neurodivergence, and inspires self belief. Sanders de Roeper’s playful and thoughtful designs plant seeds of joy, strength, and resilience- for kids, grown-ups, and anyone who needs a dose of sunny optimism.
