Royal Pavilion, Brighton
YesColour invited They Made This to curate the wonderful 'Foundation' room as part of their exhibition ‘Colour, a chromatic promenade through the Royal Pavilion’.
Founders Áine Donovan and Eloise Jones are delighted to showcase their artists within this iconic building. Presented in a striking ‘salon’-style hang against YesColours’ deep indigo shade Loving Blue, the exhibition brings together artists who live and work locally alongside others inspired by the spirit of Brighton itself.
The bespoke mural, created by Abi Everett 'EVERGOOD' and hand-painted in the rich colours of YesColours, embodies her signature exploration of colour, shape and pattern. Drawing on botanical forms and the interplay of architectural structures, Abi’s work brings these contrasting elements together in a striking visual harmony.
