A celebration of summer, of holidays. The perfect man in the perfect setting.
It's also an examination of queer identity amongst the swimming pool culture especially prevalent in Los Angeles. With nods to David Hockney, the image of a perfect body rising out of water is one of the great fantasies of European art. This faceless man becomes an object of decoration himself. A holiday romance of sorts.
